Patient with cirrhosis under surveillance; a new liver lesion is found and alpha-fetoprotein is rising.
Key imaging findings
- Arterial-phase hyperenhancement (non-rim) of the lesion
- Washout of contrast in the portal-venous or delayed phase
- Enhancing capsule appearance
- Threshold growth on serial imaging
